articles in dailies (mainly Editorials) on adolescent,women and

than 12 years. She has been associated with MAMTA since 1996 and
involved in conceptualizing and managing programmes, conducting

on the issues of Womens Empowerment, Adolescent Health and
Development, Reproductive Health, Sexuality, HIV/AIDS, Gender and
Rights.
Dr.Subha Sankar Das
He
holds a Doctorate in Physical Anthropology from Delhi University.
He has 10+ years of experience in the field of community development
in rural as well as urban areas. He has been involved with various
projects focusing youth and adolescents including RCH, HIV/AIDS,
gender, rights, masculinity, reproductive health, sexuality education,
adolescent friendly health services. Designing research based projects
and intervention are his forte.
Jayant
Kumar
Masters
in Anthropology (Social) from University of Delhi and working on
HIV and Sexual Reproductive Health issues for over twelve years.
Well versed in interventions and research projects in community
health with marginalized and vulnerable population. Worked with/
for UNICEF, SIFPSA/UDAID and Delhi State AIDS Control Society (DSACS).
Work on HIV ranges from targeted intervention for truckers, community
interventions to sexuality education for school going children.

as the Programme Coordinator in MAMTA, with Post graduate degrees
in Geography (Ranchi University) and Population Studies (International
Institute for Population Sciences, Mumbai), has been working in
the development sector from last 10 years with special focus on
programme management, supervising the national level health surveys
(NFHS-II, RHS-RCH), he has also worked with IIPS and UNICEF. He
has been working with MAMTA from last five years and presently based
at Lucknow (UP).

been working since last 16 years in areas of counseling, training,
community development and project management with women, children
young people and service providers on issues of Reproductive child
health, integrated development, domestic violence, young people
reproductive and sexual health, community mobilization, refuges
welfare etc. have worked with UNHCR project for more than 5 years
and has been working in MAMTA since last 5 years.

Dr. Ritu Kumar Mishra
Dr. Ritu Kumar Mihra holds an M.Phil. and a Ph.D. degree in
Population Studies from Centre for the Study of Regional Development
(CSRD), Jawaharlal Nehru University. His Doctoral thesis
“Socio-economic Determinants of Infant and Child Mortality in Assam:
A Case Study of Jorhat and Dhubri Districts” received Doctoral
Fellowship from the Indian Council for Social Science Research
(Ministry of Human Resource and Development). His M.Phil.
Dissertation was on, “Infant Mortality in India: Trends,
Differentials and Determinants”. He completed M.A. in Geography from
Delhi University. He has also cleared NET/UGC (National Eligibility
Test/ University Grant Commission) in both Population Studies and
Geography. He has been working in the developmental sector in the
capacity of Programme Manager for last one and half year year.
