Dr Sunil Mehra, MD (Paed.)(1981) Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has been a practising paediatrician since last two decades and more. Key founder member (EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR) of the organisation with a special consultative status to Economic and Social Council of United Nations, WHO, British High Commission and Sida respectively. Committed to advocacy, training and research in adolescent health and development, women's & child health and urban poverty. Conceptualised and implemented interventions/ studies in these areas. Presented various papers on the issue in various National and International Conferences. Published various articles in dailies (mainly Editorials) on adolescent,women and health system.

 

Chief Administrator & Health Consultant

Dr B Bhardawaj, is a medical professional with specialisation in Paediatrics and has served in the Indian Armed forces for more than two decades.

 

 

Senior Advisor

 

Dr P K Goswami, M.B.B.S, with MSc. In Maternal and Child Health, UK and Diploma in Child Health(UK). He is a paediatrician by background and having acquired hands on knowledge and skill on Adolescents/ Young People health and development has been working for little more than three decades and is in the organisation for last thirteen years with keen interestto promote, women &child health and adolescents/young people's health and development.

Medical Specialist (MBBS,MD) with postgraduate degree in Paediatrics & Neonatology. She has experience of working in paediatric and neonatal intensive care units in tertiary health care settings for some years before joining the development sector.

Mr. Vishwa Deepak

M. Sc.,M.Phil. in Social Medicine & Community Health from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi (India). Has been working in the developmental sector for over a 13 years with special emphasis on HIV/AIDS, care and support to children living with and affected by HIV/AIDS, programme planning and management.

Having Post Graduate degree in Social Work with specilization in Social Welfare has been working in developemntal sector for more than 12 years. She has been associated with MAMTA since 1996 and involved in conceptualizing and managing programmes, conducting training workshops, liaisoning and Networking and advocacy mainly on the issues of Women’s Empowerment, Adolescent Health and Development, Reproductive Health, Sexuality, HIV/AIDS, Gender and Rights.

 

Dr.Subha Sankar Das

He holds a Doctorate in Physical Anthropology from Delhi University. He has 10+ years of experience in the field of community development in rural as well as urban areas. He has been involved with various projects focusing youth and adolescents including RCH, HIV/AIDS, gender, rights, masculinity, reproductive health, sexuality education, adolescent friendly health services. Designing research based projects and intervention are his forte.

 


Jayant Kumar

Masters in Anthropology (Social) from University of Delhi and working on HIV and Sexual Reproductive Health issues for over twelve years. Well versed in interventions and research projects in community health with marginalized and vulnerable population. Worked with/ for UNICEF, SIFPSA/UDAID and Delhi State AIDS Control Society (DSACS). Work on HIV ranges from targeted intervention for truckers, community interventions to sexuality education for school going children.

Ms. Smita Mitra

Masters in Social Work from TISS, Mumbai, Worked in the development sector for over 5 years specially with regards to women and child health, Child rights and young people's sexual reproductive health and rights. Implemented development projects in rural urban and plantation estates. Experience of working with constituencies like, parliamentarians, media, policy makers,educationists, health care service providers etc.

 

Ms. Priyanka,

B.Sc, PG Diploma in PR and Advertising, she has 8+ years of experience in development communications with focus area being IEC, Advocacy and Social Mobilisation. Have been associated with programmes and campaigns on Immunisation, Family Planning, Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health. The organisational communication comprise documentation, publication of annual report, newsletter, corporate brochure, magazines etc.

 

Anup Murari Ranjan,

Working as the Programme Coordinator in MAMTA, with Post graduate degrees in Geography (Ranchi University) and Population Studies (International Institute for Population Sciences, Mumbai), has been working in the development sector from last 10 years with special focus on programme management, supervising the national level health surveys (NFHS-II, RHS-RCH), he has also worked with IIPS and UNICEF. He has been working with MAMTA from last five years and presently based at Lucknow (UP).

 

Mr. Manishankar

Masters in Economics, Masters in Population Studies (Demography), Proven skills in programme management, strategic planning, project design, proposal writing, project implementation, monitoring & evaluation, budgeting & grant management, networking with NGOs, assessment and appraisal of NGOs. Technical expertise in quantitative and qualitative research, demography, family planning, reproductive and child health, adolescent health and development and HIV/AIDS.

Anjana Matta,

Masters in Social Work, diploma in Guidance and counseling and B.ED. Has been working since last 16 years in areas of counseling, training, community development and project management with women, children young people and service providers on issues of Reproductive child health, integrated development, domestic violence, young people reproductive and sexual health, community mobilization, refuges welfare etc. have worked with UNHCR project for more than 5 years and has been working in MAMTA since last 5 years.

Working as a Programme Manager with MAMTA since four years. Area of her interest is training and facilitated various training programmes organized for Peer Educators, NGOs Coordinators& staff, and para medical staff Asha Sahyoginis' on issues related to reproductive health, gender, life skill education early marriage and early pregnancy and communication.

M-Phil,PGDMA in Export Management,Experience in implementation of development programmes with special emphasis on women empowerment and gender. Experience in imparting gender sensitization and mainstreaming trainings. Total experience of 8+ years.

 

Dr. Ritu Kumar Mishra

Dr. Ritu Kumar Mihra holds an M.Phil. and a Ph.D. degree in Population Studies from Centre for the Study of Regional Development (CSRD), Jawaharlal Nehru University. His Doctoral thesis “Socio-economic Determinants of Infant and Child Mortality in Assam: A Case Study of Jorhat and Dhubri Districts” received Doctoral Fellowship from the Indian Council for Social Science Research (Ministry of Human Resource and Development). His M.Phil. Dissertation was on, “Infant Mortality in India: Trends, Differentials and Determinants”. He completed M.A. in Geography from Delhi University. He has also cleared NET/UGC (National Eligibility Test/ University Grant Commission) in both Population Studies and Geography. He has been working in the developmental sector in the capacity of Programme Manager for last one and half year year.

 

Mr. Kailash Lakhara

Master in Population Studies with specialization in Urban and Regional Planning & Master in Geography with specialization in M.A. Dissertation, Data handling with large scale demographic and health survey from last 5 years. Anil Kumar Mishra, BSc Maths,Post Graduate Diploma in Health Management from IIHMR, Jaipur. Worked in AC Nielsen ORG-MARG as Research Associate from Jan 2003-April 2004, responsible for planning, conducting, monitoring and evaluating large ans small scale surveys related to public health. After that joined Mamta-HIMC in April 2004. Here worked as state coordinator of UP SRIJAN network till 2005. From 2006 started coordinating the Bihar SRIJAN along with UP SRIJAN. Time to time I also provided my input to the other projects in UP, such as Phased Intervention in Varanasi, Sure Start in Hardoi,UBW project in Gosaiganj etc.

 

Mr. Manjunath C

M.A.in Social science,working in Health services and Developmental sector for the last Ten years, with special focus on Hereditary Genetic Blood Disorders like Thalassemia, Sickle cell Anemia etc. concerning with Young people and Antenatal women as well as program management. Worked with Indian Council For Medical Research [I.C.M.R.] Project for Five years.

 

Mr. Ravish Ahmed

MA in Sociology,Program planning and monitoring since last 9 years, working at grassroots level on HIV/AIDS and Safe motherhood issues in rural and urban settings to generate awareness and develop linkages and referrals with the available health services.Organized and facilitation of Capacity building programs on HIV/AIDS, PPTCT, Safe Motherhood, Counselling skills and Community mobilization since last 5 year.Working with partner NGOs, public and private key stakeholders and public health system since last 5 years Working with PLHA and their networks since last 5 years.
